Race Info
The Taste of Portage Half Marathon and 5K runs through downtown Portage, Wisconsin, past several city parks and along the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River. The Portage Area Chamber of Commerce added the races in 2023 as part of the Taste of Portage Market Fair, a downtown festival held each August for decades. Both races start and finish at the Columbia County Administration Building on Edgewater Street, with the half marathon starting at 7:15 a.m. and the 5K following at 7:30 a.m. The race weekend ends with a block party downtown featuring live music, a classic car show and an awards ceremony.
