Race Info
The Surfside Beach Half Marathon is run entirely on the hard-packed sand of the Gulf of Mexico shoreline at Surfside Beach, Texas. It starts near Stahlman Park Pavilion, heads west about a mile and a half to a turnaround, comes back past the start line and continues east toward San Luis Pass before turning around to finish at the park. The course is flat with no pavement, and the water is always on one side, so there is nowhere to get lost.
