St. Petersburg Distance Classic Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race
Mild 57°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 72°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 72% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The St. Petersburg Half Marathon runs 13.1 miles from North Shore Park on the downtown waterfront, north through the historic Snell Isle neighborhood and around Coffee Pot Bayou before returning past the park. It then heads south through downtown and along Central Avenue, passing the street's murals and shops, and at about mile 10 joins the shaded Pinellas Trail, a paved rail trail, for the run east back to the waterfront finish. The course is very flat, with one small bridge onto Snell Isle as its only real incline.
