St. Petersburg Distance Classic 10K
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race
Mild 58°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 72°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 70% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The St. Petersburg 10K covers 6.2 miles of the city's residential waterfront, north from North Shore Park into Snell Isle and around Coffee Pot Bayou. Runners return toward North Shore Park, pass the finish area and continue south along Vinoy Park to a turnaround before finishing at the park. The course is flat, with a small bridge onto Snell Isle as its only incline, and its early start keeps most runners ahead of the heat of the day.
