St. Joseph Missouri Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, moderate wind
Starting at 64°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 74°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Moderate winds around 14mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. High humidity (83%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Half Marathon starts and finishes on Francis Street behind Civic Center Park in downtown St. Joseph. The course heads north on Maple Leaf Parkway and Northwest Parkway, then follows Northeast Parkway to historic Ashland Avenue before turning back through Crescent Drive toward downtown. It follows the first nine miles of the marathon route on a USATF-certified course, and the terrain rolls with steady climbs and descents rather than running flat.
