Race Info
The Sorry 'Bout That Half Marathon runs each January in Polson, Montana, on the shore of Flathead Lake. Runners start and finish at the Mission Valley Aquatic Center and loop out on local roads and the bike path past North Reservoir Road and Kerr Dam Road before returning through town. Polson Running, a local nonprofit that also puts on the Polson Turkey Trot, organizes the race and offers a 3-person team relay alongside the half marathon. The late-morning start, close to 11 a.m. in recent years, gives Montana's midwinter temperatures a chance to climb above freezing before the gun.
