Humidity is at 70%, encouraging a conservative pace early on, especially in headwind sections. The tailwind from miles 9-12 and 21-27 will provide a boost, but runners should prepare for crosswinds throughout. Light rain is possible, so a throwaway layer may be prudent for the pre-race wait.

Race Info
The Shakespeare Marathon is a marathon and half marathon run each spring in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, starting near Wood Street in the town centre and finishing at the Recreation Ground. The course follows closed roads through Luddington and Welford-on-Avon before joining the Stratford Greenway footpath, with the marathon completing two laps of the route. Organized by RunThrough Events in partnership with the Rotary Club of Stratford-upon-Avon, the race supports the Shakespeare Hospice and is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
