Race Info
The Secret City Half Marathon and 5K takes place each November in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, a city built in secrecy during World War II for the Manhattan Project. Both courses start and finish at the Melton Lake Park peninsula. The half marathon runs along Melton Lake, past an operational quarry, and down a tree-lined private road before returning along the water to the finish. The 5K stays along the Melton Lake walking trail out to Elza Gate Park and back.
