Race Info
The Rivers & Rails Half Marathon starts in Brunswick, Maryland, near the entrance to the C&O Canal Towpath between the MARC train lot and the Potomac River. It follows the marathon's opening miles along the towpath and crosses the Potomac River twice before returning to Brunswick, turning around before the second bridge. The route does not include the Harpers Ferry and Bolivar, West Virginia sections of the full course.
