The Rennes Marathon is a 42.195-kilometer race through downtown Rennes in Brittany, France, starting at Mail François Mitterrand and finishing at Esplanade Charles de Gaulle. The two-loop, mostly flat course passes the Vilaine riverbanks, the Parliament of Brittany and Rennes City Hall, and carries FFA gold label certification. First run in 2011, the race funds tree planting based on the distance each participant covers.
