Race Info
The Reggio Emilia Marathon runs through the historic center of Reggio Emilia, Italy and out into the countryside toward the hills of Quattro Castella. The race starts and finishes at Piazza della Vittoria, following Corso Garibaldi through the old town before heading onto rural roads. The men's course record is 2:12:26, set by John Hakizimana of Rwanda in 2022; Giovanna Epis of Italy holds the women's record at 2:28:03, set in 2020. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and is held each December.
