Pisa Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential
A cool 42°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 80% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Pisa Marathon runs through San Rossore Natural Park and along the Tuscan coast before returning to the city to finish at Piazza dei Miracoli, the square where the Leaning Tower stands. The race is certified by AIMS and World Athletics and takes place each December alongside the half marathon La Pisanina and a shorter, non-competitive Christmas Run. Dmitriy Nedelin set the men's course record of 2:12:28 at the 2025 edition, breaking a mark that had stood for ten years. Recent editions have drawn runners from more than 80 countries.
