Night Moves 5K
Race Day Weather
Hot start
A warm 87°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 68% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Night Moves 5K is a single lap of the clockwise loop at Stephen F. Austin State Park in San Felipe, just west of Houston on I-10, run after dark on the Saturday of race weekend. The trail is wide and mostly gravel and dirt with a few quick changes in elevation, which suits first-time trail runners. The loop starts and finishes at the group dining hall, and the trail is marked with reflectors and ribbons.
