Race Info
The Newcastle-Gateshead Marathon runs on closed roads between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead, crossing the Tyne Bridge before finishing inside Gateshead International Stadium. The race launched in 2024 and runs each May, distinct from the September Great North Run half marathon held in the same two cities. The event also includes a half marathon, 10K, and junior races on the same day.
