The Nara Marathon is a JAAF-certified marathon in Nara, Japan, held on a Sunday in December. It starts and finishes at Rohto Nara Konoike Park, runs through the old capital past sites such as the Heijo Palace grounds, and turns around in neighbouring Tenri before returning to Konoike Athletics Stadium. The marathon is a Wanda Age Group World Rankings event and has 11,750 places, with a six-hour limit and eight checkpoints.
