Millinocket Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cold start — layer up
Runners will start in chilly 29°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 71% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Millinocket Half Marathon is a single 13.1-mile loop that starts and finishes on Penobscot Avenue beside Veterans Memorial Park, with the finish line set between two logging trucks. The first mile out of town on Poplar Street is a paved climb, followed by about six miles on the Golden Road, a gravel, privately owned logging road. The last six miles are paved, running along Millinocket Lake Road and back into town. The USATF-certified course is held on the first Saturday of December in Maine's Katahdin region, and the marathon runs the same loop twice.
