Mérida Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, big temp swing
Starting at 66°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temps will climb significantly to 84°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 74% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Mérida Marathon is an annual road race in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, held each January as part of the city's founding-anniversary celebrations. The course starts and finishes at the Monumento a la Patria on Paseo de Montejo and continues through Mérida's Centro Histórico. First run in 1986 and originally sponsored by a local paint company, the race has carried several title-sponsor names over the decades and has qualified for the Boston Marathon since 2022. Race weekend also includes a half marathon, 10K, and 3K walk starting from the same monument, drawing roughly 6,000 finishers across all distances in the 2026 edition.
