Race Info
The Medio Maratón Fundación Castro-Limón is a half marathon and 10K held in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, organized by the pediatric-cancer charity Fundación Castro-Limón to fund treatment at its oncology center. The half marathon starts at the foundation's facility in the Río Tijuana Tercera Etapa district and finishes at Estadio Caliente, passing landmarks including Paseo de los Héroes, Avenida Revolución, and Bulevar Agua Caliente. The race debuted in June 2025 with roughly 3,000 runners and moved to a May date for its second edition in 2026, which sold out both distances at about 2,500 finishers combined. The 21K course carries World Athletics certification.
