Race Info
The Marine Corps Historic Half is an annual 13.1-mile road race through historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, organized by the Marine Corps Marathon Organization since its debut in 2008. The course passes Central Park and the Rappahannock River area before climbing Hospital Hill, a roughly half-mile stretch near mile 10.5 where the road rises from about 100 feet to 200 feet in elevation. Race weekend also includes the Semper Fred 5K on the preceding Saturday. Both events start and finish near the Fredericksburg Convention Center on Carl D. Silver Parkway.
