Race Info
The Malad Valley Marathon is a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and one-mile race held in Malad City, Idaho, the seat of Oneida County. All distances start and finish at Malad City Park, with one shared 8:00 AM Mountain Time start. The course runs along the Malad Valley floor between the Bannock Range and the Sublett Range, roughly half on hard-packed dirt roads and half on paved farm roads, with the full marathon covering the loop twice. The inaugural race was held September 12, 2026, with 103 timed finishers.
