Madeline Island Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race

Race Info
The Madeline Island Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles on Madeline Island in Lake Superior's Apostle Islands. It is a USATF-certified loop with short out-and-back sections that starts and finishes at Joni's Beach in La Pointe, a few blocks from the ferry landing. The route is mostly paved road with about 3 to 4 miles of gravel, and it runs through forest and along the lake shore on roads that stay open to traffic. The half starts on the Saturday of race weekend, together with the marathon.
