Race Info
The Little Apple Marathon is a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, and 5K held in Manhattan, Kansas, nicknamed the Little Apple. Most of the course runs inside Tuttle Creek State Park, combining Dyer Road with the narrow paved Western Heritage Trail across four clockwise 6.55-mile loops for the marathon and two loops for the half marathon. Each loop gains only about 100 feet of elevation, and the course is USATF-certified and qualifies for the Boston Marathon. The race did not take place in 2025, and organizers have said they hope to bring it back in 2026, though no date has been announced.
