Last Chance Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cold start — layer up, chance of rain
Runners will start in chilly 32°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. High humidity (84%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Last Chance Half Marathon is a single out and back on the Interurban Trail, starting and finishing at the Fairhaven Park pavilion in Bellingham and turning at the Clayton Beach parking lot in Larrabee State Park. Most of the route follows an old railroad bed with a packed gravel surface under tree cover, with a three-quarter-mile stretch of double-track trail through Arroyo Park. The course is mostly flat, with about 300 feet of elevation change over the full route, and it is held on New Year's Eve.
