Race Info
The Katsuta Marathon women's 10 km is a separate race for women, run on the same Sunday as the marathon in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki. It starts on Omotecho Shopping Street and follows the first stretch of the marathon route along Showa-dori, turning around near the Mawatari intersection about 5 km from the start. It returns to the same finish at Ishikawa Sports Plaza. The roads are flat city streets, rising and falling only a few meters.
