Hungry Duck Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run/Walk 10K
Race Day Weather
Warm start, warming through the race, rain likely, high humidity
Starting at 69°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 82°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Rain is likely — waterproof your phone and bib, and consider a disposable poncho for the corral. High humidity (84%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.
