Hogsback Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, moderate wind
A cool 49°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Moderate winds around 14mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. High humidity (83%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Hogsback Half Marathon is a USATF-certified 13.1-mile race held each September in Colebrook, Connecticut, organized by the Hartford Track Club. The course starts and finishes at Goodwin Dam on Durst Road, historically called Hogback Dam and the source of the race's name, and runs a net downhill route through Riverton, Pleasant Valley, Hartland, and Colebrook along the Farmington River. Proceeds benefit Running for Rescues, a nonprofit supporting shelter-animal rescue groups.
