Starting at 62°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 73°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. The Omaha Marathon offers runners a scenic journey through Omaha, Nebraska, featuring a two-lap course that crosses the Missouri River into Iowa via the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. Participants enjoy views of the Missouri River and traverse both urban trails and pedestrian bridges connecting Nebraska and Iowa. The course is mostly flat with gentle rolling hills, making it accessible to a wide range of participants. As a USATF-certified course, it serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
