The course winds through historic neighborhoods, including West Hartford's Elizabeth Park, and features picturesque stretches along the Connecticut River. Runners cross the Founders Bridge into East Hartford, traverse the trails of Great River Park, and pass charming New England homes in South Windsor before returning to downtown Hartford. The race concludes under the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch in Bushnell Park.
