Cold start — layer up, warming through the race
Runners will start in chilly 37°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Temperatures rising to 50°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 66% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Gobbler Grind 10K starts and finishes at Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. After a street loop near Founders Park, runners join the Indian Creek Trail and head east for an out and back before finishing the last mile on the streets of Corporate Woods. The course is USATF-certified and runs through fall foliage.
