Race Info
The Fox Cities Marathon is an annual road race weekend held each September in the Fox Cities area of Wisconsin, with the marathon, half marathon and relay starting in Menasha and finishing at Riverside Park in Neenah, alongside a Saturday 10K/5K and an expo in Appleton. Founded in 1991 by Gloria West, the marathon and half marathon courses are USATF-certified and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. It is run by a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has returned more than $1.3 million to the local community over its history. The course crosses the 1,600-foot Fox Cities Trestle Trail Bridge, the longest pedestrian bridge in Wisconsin. Sunday events have been cancelled for severe weather twice, in 2019 and 2024, and the 2020 race was cancelled due to COVID-19.
