Race Info
The Ehime Marathon is held in Matsuyama, on the island of Shikoku, in early February. Runners start in front of the Ehime Prefectural Government Office and finish at Shiroyama Park beside Matsuyama Castle, with a six-hour limit and ten checkpoint gates along the route. The course is certified by the JAAF, World Athletics and AIMS, and the race is a qualifier for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Age Group World Championships. Entry is through RUNNET and is capped at 10,300 runners.
