Race Info
The Des Moines 10K covers 6.2 miles on flat downtown streets and paved trail, starting and finishing in downtown Des Moines on Raccoon Street. The loop runs along Grand Avenue, Locust Street and Cherry Street and picks up the Meredith Trail south of downtown before returning through the city center. It runs on Sunday of race weekend, the same morning as the marathon and half marathon.
