Runners will face a temperature rise from 47°F to 60°F, with a light breeze from the SW at 10 mph, gusting to 26 mph. Humidity sits at 60%, which is comfortable. Runners should maintain a steady pace, taking advantage of the cool conditions while staying hydrated.
Just Off The Coast Of Hilton Head, SC Lies A Unique Place, Daufuskie Island. Experience This Island By Running The Beautiful Shores Lines And Witnessing The Breath Taking Views. Runners will experience breath taking views starting from their departure on the Daufuskie Island Ferry heading to the main area at Haig Point, the central area of this incredible race. There runners will be greeted with a morning cup of joe sponsored by PERC coffee, entertainment and restrooms to get you ready to run. After your race, a catered picnic lunch and an assortment of beverages await you…including craft beer provided you’re of legal drinking age. Additionally, each runner will receive a swag bag filled of must have items and a finishing medal to commemorate your accomplishment, which you can have engraved with your finishing time at the Haig Point’s area after party. The after party will have live entertainment for the runners and their family and friends so bring them along too.
