Race Info
The Danville Half Marathon runs through downtown Danville, Virginia, starting and finishing on the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge over the Dan River. The out-and-back course follows the paved Riverwalk Trail on mostly flat terrain, with one short unpaved section. The race has run in some form since at least 2015, with recent editions each October; the 2026 edition is scheduled for October 17. It is presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union and timed by Blue Ridge Timing of Lynchburg, Virginia.
