Race Day Weather
Hot start, adjust pace early
Runners will face temperatures starting at 82°F and rising to 86°F, with high humidity at 77% and a dew point of 75°F. A moderate wind from the ESE at 15 mph will provide some relief. To avoid fatigue, runners should adjust their pace conservatively and ensure adequate hydration throughout the race.
The Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km course will take you along the waterfront of Curaçao, across the “swinging old lady”, the famous Queen Emma pontoon bridge and even over one of the highest bridges in the world, the Juliana Bridge, at 185 feet above sea level! The Marathon course record is 02:43:50 (Wojciech Kopec, Poland). On Saturday afternoon is the 5km run or walk, on Sunday morning the 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km run or walk. Source
