Race Info
The Cape Town 10K starts at Woodbridge Island in Milnerton and finishes on Lower Long Street in the city center. The route follows the Atlantic coastline with views of Table Mountain before turning inland to the finish. First held in 2015, the race is part of the Absa Run Your City Series, organized by Stillwater Sports, which also stages sister 10Ks in Durban, Gqeberha, Tshwane and Johannesburg. The 2025 edition sold out at roughly 15,000 entrants. The 2026 race was cancelled the weekend of the event due to a severe weather warning from the South African Weather Service; entrants were offered a refund or a complimentary entry to 2027.
