Cape Town Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool temps, shifting winds ahead
Runners will face a starting temperature of 58°F, gradually rising to 61°F by the finish. Winds will initially provide a helpful tailwind from miles 1-5, but will shift to headwinds during critical sections from miles 12-23, especially challenging at mile 18 with its climb. Given the high humidity at 80%, runners should adjust their pace early and consider hydration strategies to combat the discomfort as they progress.
