The 30 Km dei Portici is a 30 kilometer road race that follows Bologna's UNESCO-listed porticoes. It starts on Via Irnerio and shares much of the marathon route through the historic center. The race finishes in Piazza Maggiore, in front of the Basilica di San Petronio, on the first Sunday of March.
