Race Info

The Blackpool Half Marathon is a one-lap seafront course that runs along the Promenade roadway and the promenade walkways, closed to traffic for the event. It is flat and aimed at runners chasing a personal best. The race starts and finishes at the event village on the Middle Walkway of North Promenade, north of Blackpool North Pier, on the Sunday of festival weekend. Half marathon runners line up facing north, away from Blackpool Tower, and share the course with the marathon until the two split just after the 13-mile point.
