Race Info
The Berlin Marathon starts and finishes on Straße des 17. Juni between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column, looping through districts including Charlottenburg and Kreuzberg before runners pass back through the Gate shortly before the finish. The flat course has produced 13 marathon world records, more than any other race, including Eliud Kipchoge's 2:01:09 in 2022. It's one of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors, held each year in late September.
