Beachy Head Ultra
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, strong wind, chance of rain
Mild 57°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Strong 20mph gusts could slow exposed stretches — tuck behind other runners when you can. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. Moderate humidity at 80% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

The route follows the Cuckmere River back to the coast and crosses the Seven Sisters a second time, passing Belle Tout Lighthouse on the way to the finish on Dukes Drive. It is a hilly off-road course on the South Downs with steep climbs, gates, stiles, bridges, cattle grids and several flights of steps.
