There are limited spots available for this event and thousands were turned away for the 2024 event so register soon to avoid disappointment! Starting in the picturesque mountain town of Banff, participants will flow through a series of incredible natural, wildlife, and historical stages as they pass by the serene Vermilion Lakes, Legacy Trail and Bow Valley Parkway. The return trek will travel back alongside Vermilion Lakes and the Bow River to cheering crowds in Banff’s downtown Central Park.
The Banff Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K running festival will be undergoing some significant changes for next year’s event. Starting in 2025, the marathon distance will be removed from the event to enable the event to focus on the extremely popular Half Marathon distance while also reducing potential impacts to Banff National Park.
