Armed Services 5K
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing, moderate wind
Starting at 62°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temps will climb significantly to 81°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Moderate winds around 14mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Moderate humidity at 72% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Armed Services Marathon 5K is an out-and-back course that starts and finishes on the track inside the Grand Haven High School football stadium. It follows the same paved bike paths as the longer distances and is mostly flat with a few gentle rolling hills. It runs on the Sunday of race weekend, so 5K runners and walkers share the stadium finish with the marathoners.
