Aspen Valley Marathon Weather Preview
With a heat wave pushing through the US this weekend, the temperatures will be on the warmer side of average this year. Luckily the start of the race at 6AM should still be pretty temperate, around 50º with a light breeze. Temperatures will still be moderate as the day goes on, though eventually reaches a high of 78º in the afternoon by the time the race is wrapping up.
Humidity and dew point are both low, which is generally good for a race as the sweat will evaporate better off your skin and keep you cool, but be sure to drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel like you need it.
