Race Info
The Zydeco Half Marathon runs 13.1 miles through Lafayette's older neighborhoods and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. It starts on Jefferson Street downtown, passes through the Saint Streets, the Cajundome area and Freetown, then crosses the campus and loops through the Oil Center and Bendel Gardens before returning through Freetown to a Jefferson Street finish. The half is held on the Sunday of race weekend, starting alongside the full marathon and the team relay, and the courses are USATF-certified.
