Yukon River Trail Half Marathon

Comfortable temps, warming through the race

Race Info
The half marathon covers the first and last legs of the full course and starts and finishes at Rotary Peace Park in downtown Whitehorse. Runners follow the Millennium Trail across the Robert Campbell and Rotary Centennial bridges, then climb single-track above the Yukon River to the Kwanlin/Miles Canyon suspension bridge. From there the route turns down river along the east shore of Schwatka Lake, loops through the hilly trails around Hidden Lakes and climbs Heart Break Hill before dropping back to the Millennium Trail and the finish. It is a rooty, rolling trail course with steady climbing, not a road half.
