Victoria Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, chance of rain
Mild 52°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. Moderate humidity at 80% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Half Marathon follows the marathon route for its first 13 kilometres through downtown Victoria, then turns toward the ocean and winds through the quiet streets of Fairfield before reaching Dallas Road. From there the course runs along the waterfront with ocean views for the rest of the race. It is a fast, relatively flat course that finishes in front of the BC Legislative Buildings, where it also starts, and it is Athletics Canada/Run Canada-certified.
