United States Air Force 10K
Race Day Weather
Warm start, warming through the race
Starting at 66°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 80°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 79% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 10K starts just outside the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on the Saturday of race weekend and climbs early to the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine. It rolls over gentle hills past the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Air Force Institute of Technology, then drops on a long downhill toward the museum. The last mile levels out and ends along the old flight line, near the wingtips of the aircraft in the Air Park.
