Race Info
The Texas Marathon kicks off every New Year's Day, covering four loops on Kingwood's shaded concrete greenbelt trails. It starts and ends at St. Martha Catholic School, and you get to run by Kingwood Lake with only mild elevation changes, maxing out at 72 feet. It's a Boston qualifier, and after crossing the finish, runners get some quirky, oversized medals and enjoy a pizza picnic.
