Tallahassee Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, big temp swing
A cool 48°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temps will climb significantly to 64°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 68% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Tallahassee Half Marathon starts alongside the marathon and relay from the Leon County courthouse in downtown Tallahassee, in one of three corrals (7:30, 7:35, or 7:40 AM) assigned by predicted finish time. The USATF-certified 13.1-mile course runs through downtown, Midtown, and the Florida State University and Florida A&M University campuses before finishing in College Town on Madison Street. Half marathon finishers must average 15 minutes per mile or faster to keep on-course support. It draws a larger field than the marathon itself, with over 1,000 finishers in recent years.
